How to Crop Video
KeepVid Video Converter is a one-stop solution for all your video editing needs comprising of numerous features that both tech savvy and non-tech users can easily use to make their video more appealing. In this tutorial we are going to make you understand how to crop a video using KeepVid Video Converter.
Step 1 Get the Cropping Window
Launch the KeepVid Video Converter and add the desired video files to the conversion board. After adding the preferred file, under the video thumbnail you'll see 3 editing icons, hit the middle icon i.e. Crop button to avail the cropping window.
Step 2 Rotate Video
Here in the Crop Panel, at the top panel you'll see options to rotate your video anticlockwise, clockwise, flip horizontally and flip vertically.
For instance, if you hit the Flip Horizontal button, the preview of the flipped video will be shown right under the original video.
Step 3 Crop Video Size
To change the video frame size, either punch in the desired width and height in the "Crop Area Size" section or simply drag the borders of the video frame according to your need. You can instantly preview your actions in the Output Preview right under the Original video's preview.
Step 4 Set Video Aspect Ratio
Users have the flexbility to set the desired aspect ratio for their final output of the file. Hit the drop-down menu in the Aspect Ratio section and set it to either keep original, crop size, full screen, 16:9, 4:3, letterbox, pan & scan.
Step 5 Save Your Actions
If you are satisfied with the settings you've made, hit OK to save them. Or, if you feel like reverting them back to default, hit Reset.
Step 6 Converting the Cropped Video
After saving your crop settings, you'll return to the mainscreen of the program. Tap on the drop-down menu next to Convert all files to: to select the desired output file format and then tap Convert All to proceed.
Your cropped and converted video will be listed under the Converted tab after the conversion completes.
Tips: If you wish to lower or raise the audio of your video, just hit the Audio tab at the top of the editing window and adjust the volume of your video with the help of the slider provided.
